Official Service Agreement v4.01. Software Usage & Licensing
Mia Computech PLC grants the client a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to operate the Mia Ledger for internal business accounting. You are strictly prohibited from attempting to reverse-engineer the PHP source code, bypass security protocols, or redistribute the MySQL database schema.
2. Accountability & Audit Logs
The client is solely responsible for all actions performed under their verified account. Our SystemLogs capture all financial entries and modifications, providing a permanent, non-repudiable audit trail. Unauthorized sharing of UserUUID credentials or API keys is a material breach of these terms.
3. Tax & Financial Compliance
While Mia Ledger automates complex calculations for VAT, Withholding Tax, and Pension, the final legal responsibility for accurate tax filing rests with the Client. Calculations are executed based on Proclamation No. 1395/2025.
4. Hardware & Maintenance
Technical support for hardware (Dell, HP, Epson) is provided through the Support Center. Warranties are governed by original manufacturer terms; however, MIA Computech maintains local service logs to expedite repair requests within Addis Ababa.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes arising from the use of Mia Ledger shall be settled exclusively in the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
